Simply Stylist Session X Kitson

Simply Stylist is excited to announce another Sessions event here in Los Angeles on Tuesday, December 3, providing fashion insights from top industry experts! The panelists who will be speaking are Mena Suvari, Khanh Tran, Ashley Torres and Courtney Saavedra. Sarah Boyd, the founder of Simply Stylist, will be moderating the event.

Actress Mena Suvari, is best known for her role in the Academy-Award winning film American Beauty which received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress by The British Academy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble Cast. She also won a Movieline Award for Breakthrough Performance for her genuine and confident portrayal of Angela Hayes, the object of Kevin Spacey's desire in the iconic film directed by Sam Mendes. She is most recently seen in a recurring role on the NBC hit show, Chicago Fire.

Khanh T.L. Tran writes about fashion for Women's Wear Daily. Focusing on denim and sportswear brands on the West Coast, she's interviewed a gamut of executives and personalities, ranging from Beyonce, Hugh Hefner and Justin Timberlake, to Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard and the Row designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, to L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti and the U.S. Trade Representative.

Ashley Torres is the Founder and Editor of Pursuit of Shoes. Pursuit of Shoes is among the industry's top life & style blogs, providing daily content from a shoe loving LA girl. Pursuit of Shoes has been spotted in Lucky Magazine and in campaigns with Target, Macy's, and HauteLook. Ashley was most recently featured on Career Contessa, giving insight into her career path and how she used her blog to launch a career in social media.

Courtney Saavedra is a retail professional with 28 years of experience, serving as Director of Stores for two specialty retailers for the last 7 years and a Director of Operations for the last year. A leader in producing sustained sales and profit growth in evolving environments, Saavedra is highly motivated by the challenges of business start ups, rapid growth and turn arounds. With LA-based Kitson since 2010, she has worked to create consistency throughout the brand to support store growth and to fortify the company's image by improving service and merchandising standards which driving sales.
