Meet the Stylist: Angela Fink

Meet Angela Fink, a celebrity and editorial fashion stylist whose portfolio of projects ranges from red-carpet looks to on-camera ensembles.

Her lists of past/current clients include Kate Hudson, Julianne Hough, Kim Kardashian, Mel B, Eve, Kourtney Kardashian, and Adrienne Bailon. She has worked with various publications such as GQ, US Weekly, and People Style watch; Stylist for E! Network; Style Director for online fashion magazine WhoWhatWear.com; and most recently in-house stylist and style expert for Justfab.com

After years working in the entertainment industry, Angela felt the need to get back to her true passion; the jet-setting fashions that come from creative heart and soul of an artist. She began to look for a different kind of fashion outlet –a place were creativity ruled and brand names were optional. When Angela realized she was unable to find exactly what she was looking for, she turned inward- and so, TheFashionSight.com was born.

SS: Tell us the story behind your favorite wardrobe item.

My favorite wardrobe item is my Charlotte Gainsbourg for Current Elliot white button down shirt. I love it because its clean and basic. It's like a next level Normcore piece. When in doubt of what to were I always end up pairing it with a full midi skirt, leather pants, or worn in denim.

SS: What's your most memorable 'panic moment'?

I was working the Golden Globes, as soon as my client was heading out the door, the back seam came undone. I had to rush stitch the dress back together by hand barely making the red carpet.

SS: How did you recover from it gracefully?

In the moment there really wasn't much choice so I kept everything together and stitched the dress as fast as I could.

SS: What is your favorite era of fashion?

I would have to say the renaissance era has always been my favorite. I just love the attention to detail, prints, fabrics, and lavishness of it all.

SS: What was your big break?

Although I have a lot of people to thank for where I am, I honestly can't really say that I had a big break moment… I kinda just worked really hard and eventually got bigger and better jobs.

SS: Whose closet would you most like to raid?

Caroline de Maigret's closet for sure!

SS: Who are your favorite designers?

Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant, Altuzarra, Tibi, and my new fav Tome SS15.
