Simply Stylist New York Recap

Our second annual Simply Stylist New York event was such a success! The event was held at the newly revamped Park Central Hotel and it was absolutely amazing! Attendees from the day left feeling inspired, decease whether they already work in the industry or are just starting out. There were five panels this time and each one was more inspiring than the next. We had a fashion keynote, unhealthy entrepreneurs, bloggers, experts and a beauty keynote all sharing their journey, hardships and road to success. Our founder, Sarah Boyd, is proud to continue inspiring and educating those interested in joining the industry through each of these events.

The day started off with a networking brunch hosted by HauteLook for our VIP ticket holders. This also included speakers Katie Hammill from HauteLook and Elissa Kravetz who talked about "Finding Your Passion." After the delicious brunch and mingling, attendees made their way upstairs to take their seats for the fashion and beauty panels. This is where all the inspiration started!

It was very encouraging to hear how each and every one of our panelists started out in the industry. Several of them dropped their current jobs to pursue their dreams in the fashion industry. A common theme of the day was "Find your niche and be different." Each panelist became more and more inspiring and the audience was fully engaged, asking questions on how and what they could do to make it in the industry. Following the fashion & beauty panel was the shopping/pampering event. We had local and national brands onsite for the attendees to shop, be pampered, have a cocktail, eat delicious appetizers, listen to a fabulous DJ, and be styled by celebrity stylist Jacqueline Rezak! In the midst of all this excitement, we had 10 mini breakout sessions where industry experts were able to talk and answer your questions in a more intimate setting.
