We had the opportunity to attend Lucky Magazine's 3rd installment of its FABB: Fashion & Beauty Blog conference in Los Angeles on Friday, April 4th at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, bringing together top influencers in fashion, beauty and technology.
To kick off the day, the ever so fabulous and brilliant Editor-in-Chief, Eva Chen, moderated the discussion with CEO/Founder of Nasty Gal, Sophia Amoruso, followed by Nicole Richie discussing her personal style and how to build your blog into a brand.

"This season I wanted to bring together panelists who have a strong fashion and beauty perspective, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit,” says Chen. “The most successful brands are constantly changing and to speak to that, we have ambitious women like Nicole Richie, Coco Rocha and Cassandra Grey. And, of course, we'll offer best practices from some of the leading voices in the industry, such as Stephanie Mark from The Coveteur and Aimee Song from Song of Style. The more I learn about the paths each of our speakers has taken, the more I get inspired myself."

Actress, January Jones:
SS: What trends are you eyeing this season?
JJ: "I' don't really follow the trends but this season I am liking prints, I love a good tux, and white pumps. Not a fan of jean shorts"
SS: 3 words to describe your style?
JJ: "Not trendy - Eclectic, Edgy, Whimsical"
SS: What is your order at In 'n' Out?
JJ: "I don't go there, not a fan of their fries but I do love Wendy's fries"
Editor-in-Chief at Lucky Magazine, Eva Chen:
SS: What trends are you eyeing this season?
EC: "Crop tops (which she was rockin' at LuckyFabb), frumpy shoes like Birkenstocks, which people always make fun of me for but I have been wearing them since I was like 12. Also sweatshirt dressing with like an amazing floral skirt, anything that looks like pajamas or something you would wear at home and finding a way to make that look cool, that's what Lucky is all about. Sport culture style, being comfortable definitely comes through personalities, you're able to move around, take selfies (of course)...."
SS: 3 words to describe your style?
EC: "I would say my style is eclectic, a lot of people in fashion have one set style they stick to everyday, I really just love clothes and shopping so much, and try different trends all the time, so I would say my style is very happy and experimental"
SS: One beauty product you can't leave the house without?
EC: "Hand creme and lip balm but that is a tough one because I love beauty and have about 86 products on me at all times"
SS: One piece everyone must have in their closet?
EC: "A pair of shoes you can wear for 9 hours, they may not be practical but if it makes your heart happy go for it"
SS: What is your order at In 'n' Out?
EC: "I'm a vegetarian and lactose intolerant so I don't usually go there but if I must, I get a milkshake with animal style french fries"

AS: "AMINal - style french fries"

SS: 3 words to describe your style?
CR: "Eclectic, Sophisticated, Unique. I'm not a trend girl, I like to have a conversation with someone about fashion and their clothes and not just say oh, I have seen that before. There's no fun in that. "
