You may already have a New Years Resolution in mind, but you probably haven't identified your intentions for the New Year. Knowing your intentions will allow for you to before hone in on the changes you want to make. Plus, it will help you set attainable goals with a clear timeline in mind, ultimately making your resolution appear less daunting. Easier said than done, right? We agree, which is why we turned to someone who is an expert in empowerment and leading people down positive paths to growth and well-being.

SS: Why should someone set goals before the new year begins, rather than after? Setting goals before New Year's Eve gives you time to dig deep and ask yourself what and why you want to reach goals. For example, what makes me happy and will this bring me closer to more happiness or fulfillment?

SS: New Years resolutions aren't easy to stick to. Do you have any tips for staying on track? Break your goals into small steps and reassess often. Baby steps with the help of a coach is sure way of reaching those goals in 2017!
