All About Paris Hilton's New Skincare Line

You may know Paris Hilton from her days as a reality TV star, but these days, Paris is a total boss, with multiple companies to her name. Her latest venture? Paris Hilton Skincare, a new line of luxurious and natural skincare products geared toward anti-aging.

We talked with Paris about the process of creating this new line, how she sourced the ingredients, and her own skincare line!

SIMPLY: What motivated you to start your own skincare line?
PARIS HILTON: I have always been obsessed with skincare and taking care of my skin since a very young age. I learned everything I know from my mother growing up, such as the importance of staying out of the sun and using natural skincare products. After trying everything on the market, I decided to create products for myself from natural ingredients with real results.

What was that process like of starting the line?
I found a partner and spent time with a team of chemists at a lab in Los Angeles going through all of the products that I liked that gave me results and we created formulations from amazing ingredients. I used my own skincare regimen to put together the first line and then we spent over a year perfecting the formulas, the packaging and the marking plan. It was a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun and it is exciting to be able to see this product line on the market and see the amazing reactions from everyone when they use it.
 

How did you decide which ingredients to include and the products to feature in the initial launch?
I looked at everything that I have tried in the past that worked for me and worked with my team to test new and exciting active ingredients as well. We have put some pretty powerful natural active ingredients in the line to make sure that people see results when they try the line.
 

What sets the ProD.N.A. line apart from other skincare products?
The ProD.N.A. line is made around GenoMatrix, which is our proprietary complex of enzymes that are from micro algae from the Mediterranean Sea. The enzymes support the skins natural DNA repair process.

What most people don’t know is that it is damaged DNA that leads to skin aging—this product helps the body fix that damage and keep skin looking youthful and radiant…like my skin!

We also use a ton of other really incredible ingredients like Caviar Lime, which helps promote natural exfoliation and Kakdu Plum, a source for super potent Vitamin C. One of my other favorite ingredients is in the Eye Lift & Firm Cream, which is Diamond Powder. We put this in for an instant photoshop effect around the eyes—and it sounds luxurious, because it is!
 

Tell us about your own skincare routine!
Ever since I was a little girl, I watched my mom use everything from a skin cleanser, serums, eye and neck creams. I have tried a lot of other products over the years but I have never seen results like I have from my Paris Hilton Skincare Line. I am so excited for everyone to experience it.
