My grey cowl BCBG cashmere sweater. This was a huge splurge for me in college and it's where I finally learned the trick "Price per wear." I've worn it at least 4 times a week for the past 7 years.
My most memorable, as well as most recent, panic moment as a stylist had to be when I was styling a segment for Gilt Groupe on FOX Chicago. Their VP of Editorial & Creative requested that we fix the hem on some of the pants but I couldn't find any of my pins!
Luckily I found a few pins the bottom of my styling kit, as well as improvised with some double sided sticky tape!
SS: What is your favorite era for fashion?
I'd have to say the New romantics era of the 1980s. I love the feminine look and anything Vivienne Westwood.
Being asked to style last summer's Chicago Techweek Runway Fashion show at the W hotel.
Amelia Canham Eaton's of The CHICago Life Blog. She is great and mixing and matching different textures and putting an elegant spin on anything she puts on!
