Simply Stylist chatted with Stacey to see what her current favorite trend is and why:Stacey Feldman, fashion designer and owner of Los Angeles-based boutique Stacey Todd, is a fashion queen whose style and taste brings in some of the hottest celebrities - from Rachel Bilson to Sandra Bullock - shopping at her carefully curated boutique. She fills it with top-of-the-line pieces from Alexander Wang to Rag & Bone! “As a woman, you have so many great options when it comes to what you want to wear,” she proclaims. “You don’t have to conform. You can be really feminine and really pretty without being girly.”
SS: What trend are your currently coveting?
Stacey: Masculine meets feminine. I am really loving what Hedi Slimane is doing with Saint Laurent. I have always been into the leather and lace meets tomboy look, and he has nailed it. I love pairing a great menswear tuxedo jacket and lace cami with a great pair of distressed denim and topping it off with a great pair of loafers.
SS: Why do you love these items, and how you would style them?
Stacey:
1. Celine Leopard Pony Slip Ons - SIMILAR HERE - These are so comfortable, and they go with everything! You can throw them on to run around or use them to dress down an otherwise dressier look.
2. Silk Cami from 6397 - SIMILAR HERE - It goes with everything! It is an easy throw on top for a sophisticated look.
3. The Beck Slouch Straight Jean from NSF - SIMILAR HERE - I love a great pair of rigid baggy jeans! These instantly make for an effortlessly chic look.
