Blogger of the Week: Lauren Hilger

Blogger of the Week - Lauren Hilger - Luxe Happens Born in New Zealand and raised in southern California, Lauren Hilger decided to start her blog, luxe happens, to use as her creative outlet for her thoughts, inspirations, and her love of fashion! Simply Stylist is excited to introduce Lauren to you and share with you her top five must-haves and why.

See what Lauren's picks are below, and be sure to check out her Blog and Instagram!

1. Essie Sleek Stick Stickers in Glam It On - $9.99 - BUY HERE - Possibly one of my favorite beauty inventions as of late! These genius little creations are like Essie’s gift to the girl on-the-go. You can find them at your local drugstore, apply in under 10 minutes (I recently did them en route to a girl’s trip to vegas), and you constantly get compliments on your stylish mani. My current fave is “Glam It On.”
2. Valentino Small PVC Lock Crossbody Bag (sale) - $1,202.00 - BUY HERE - I have been seriously lusting after a PVC purse, and I’m pretty sure this Valentino Rockstud is as good as it gets.
3. ASOS Salon Embroidered Skater Dress - $169.70 - BUY HERE | COLLECTION HERE I can’t even really look at this section of ASOS because I’m afraid I’ll add everything to my cart, but when I have been brave enough to take a peek it’s a swoon-fest. This collection hits all my must-haves: ladylike, playful, unique, and reasonable price points. I’ll definitely be looking here for my late summer wedding wardrobe.
4. Dannijo Siobhan Earrings - $392.00 - BUY HERE - When it comes to statement earrings, you just can’t go wrong with Dannijo. I adore the sorbet shades in these dazzlers and would love to take them out for a night on the town. Also, I like imagining that they are named after Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character “Siobhan” from CW’s The Ringer (R.I.P.).
5. Prada Cat's Eye Sunglasses in Lace - $245.00 - BUY HERE - I’m all about a classic cat-eye, and decided to treat myself to these beauties for my birthday earlier this month. I usually go for tortoiseshell or basic black when it comes to sunglasses, but this pretty lace pattern felt subtle and special.
