Blogger of the Week: Brittany Xavier of Thrifts and Threads

Brittany Xavier is our favorite kind of gal. She's stylish, she's resourceful and she's a proud mom! She's far from your average mommy blogger, though; she's a fashion forward girl with an eye for deals and details, who's unbelievably chic and simultaneously approachable. So, basically she's a unicorn! Brittany began her personal style blog, Thrifts and Threads, in December 2013 to highlight thrift and vintage finds as well as affordable pieces she found from her favorite retail stores. Since then she's worked with various brands such as Levi's, Forever 21, Guess, Botkier and has been featured in publications such as NY Mag, Glamour and Refinery29. She currently lives in Pasadena with her husband and their 8 year old daughter and enjoys being a mom, blogging, thrifting and her daily dose of National Public Radio with a morning espresso!

Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack: I love skincare products more than makeup in general and once I discovered this mask I was addicted! I use it every other night and follow up with the Moisturizing Moon Mask.

Zara Suede Trench Coat: I'm really loving the 70s vibe going into fall and a suede jacket is a must-have this season for sure. This blazer style is perfectly on-point with the length.

ASOS Mom Jeans: As much as I still love my skinny jeans, this season you will be seeing me in looser fitting denim styles (with rips of course). ASOS is one of my favorite places to find cool jeans for all body shapes!

Pointed loafer: A pointed loafer is a major staple in my wardrobe for versatility and comfort. I have these in camel and they've quickly become one of my favorite pair of flats.

Catbird ring: I never leave home without a stack of rings and this one is dear to my heart. My hubs got me this for Mother's Day with a "J" inscribed for our daughter's first initial and I never take it off. Catbird always has an amazing selection of quality dainty jewelry- perfect for the ring lovers like me.
