We are happy to lend our Blogger of the Week spotlight to Ashley Fultz of The Style Editrix! Ashley Fultz is a Los Angeles based Fashion & Lifestyle blogger and the creative mind behind TheStyleEditrix.com! Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Ashley moved to LA to pursue a career in television and worked at E! Entertainment Television for seven years, where she worked her way up to be one of the Fashion & Lifestyle Producers for E! News. She covered trends, beauty, travel and Fashion Weeks around the globe but left E! in 2013 to blog full-time and work on TV as a Style Expert.
As a new mom to a baby boy named Smith, Ashley is an expert in the field of fast fashion, which is probably because she can barely find a minute to spare for herself. So, here are 5 items that Ashley is currently loving!
Frayed Ankle Jeans: I love the casual but chic effect that raw-hem jeans give off. They look amazing with pointed-toe pumps and a button-down plaid or blouse and blazer. These are really cool because they are black and distressed and will go with everything in your closet any time of the year.
Chunky Heel Boots: I usually invest in one amazing pair of black boots every year and this year it was all about the chunky heel. They are a no-brainer for your closet and look great with jeans or a skirt and tights for the office.
Bare Minerals BareSkin Serum Concealer: Being a new mom and not getting a lot of sleep I use a lot of concealer and my favorite that I have tried in the last year is the Bare Minerals one. It glides on easily, blends perfectly and even gives you a bit of a glow. I love it alone or under my makeup.
Wrap Dress/Jacket: This chic dress also doubles as a jacket, which is really why I am obsessed with it. I love long, lightweight jackets for spring because they make every look a bit more fashion-forward and interesting. This black one will get worn a ton!
Chloe Leather Crossbody: I like carrying classic bags that go with everything and that can be worn everyday. This one is timeless and the perfect size. It’s an investment, but in my opinion you’ll definitely get your money’s worth!
